Your Role
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management, coordination and control of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) obligations within Civeo. This will involve closely collaborating with the GM HSQE and team to provide support to various business units spanning multiple locations.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from maintaining HSQE systems and meticulously recording data to actively contributing to the development of a positive safety culture across the organization. Additionally, you will play a key role in facilitating Workplace Health & Safety committees, fostering a proactive approach to safety, and ensuring compliance with state legislation, accreditations, and standards.
About You
To excel in this role, you will hold relevant professional qualifications such as a Certificate IV in Occupational Safety & Health and possess a solid understanding of WHS regulations and legislation. Ideally, you will have experience in Quality ISO standards and environmental management.
Your ability to conduct risk assessments, coordinate audits and inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives will be crucial. Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety are essential traits for success in this role.
