AddressOur construction client is seeking a skilled and hard working Labourer to assist their construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks on construction sites, including housekeeping, carrying materials, using power/hand tools, operating equipment as required, and helping the team including plumbers, carpenters, and concreters with their work.
This role is based in Bunderberg QLD offering an immediate start with up tp 6 months of work. It will be a Monday to Friday position completing 8-10 hour shifts with an hourly rate of $35/hr + penalties
Key duties
- Assisting tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as needed
- Loading and unloading materials and tools and organising site yard
- Operating power tools and machinery under supervision
- Cleaning and preparing construction sites
- Following safety guidelines and regulations at all times
- Construction white card
- PPE - steel cap boots
- Previous experience in construction or a similar field preferred
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
