Your new employer
This company is well known for high quality bathroom products. Sales have been primarily focused on plumbing merchants and high end bathware retailers. Customer service, marketing and sales support is played at an A grade level in this business; the sales team have their own co-ordinator to send samples, produce sales reports and follow up with customers. Quotes are delivered to clients within 24 hours from HQ.
Your responsibilities ...
- Building long term business relationships with leading premium home builders, architects, designers and their specifiers
- Generating specifications and preferred supplier agreements
- Tracking projects in your client portfolio till a firm order is received via the plumbing merchant (such as Tradelink, Reece or Harvey Norman Commercial)
- Identify and target new clients that suit the upper mid to premium market
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers
- Product presentations to customer groups and key decision makers
- Work cross functionally internally to make sure team members can follow up and close sale
- Effective use of CRM and project tracking
Who are you?
- Sales experience with mid to large scale residential builders and relevant specifiers and plumbing merchants
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Highly organised, good time management skills and an ability to prioritise effectively
- Project tracking and follow up
- Problem solving and solution oriented
- Analytical and good reporting ability
- Planned and organised approach
- Professional personal presentation combined with a strong work ethic
- Exposure to kitchens, bathrooms or similar fittings and fixtures that are sold to residential builders, particularly those that are front of wall is highly desirable, but not essential. Structural building products representatives are welcome to apply too.
