About the Role

An opportunity has arisen for a to join our National Operations Team as our within our Permits Department. We are looking for an experienced and driven candidate, willing to learn and excel in the role. 

This role effectively provides ongoing management of client permits and liaises with private Certifiers and Councils to achieve building approvals for our customers.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Lodging Building Approval applications with Building Certifiers
• Addressing and resolving any conditions or queries related to building approvals with relevant departments and/ or Certifiers/ Councils (proactively) 
• Monitoring the progress of all applications under your management
• Checking Building/Development Approvals for any conditions upon receipt
• Checking Covenant Approvals for any conditions upon receipt

Your attributes: 

• Experience with permits, or council experience for residential construction (highly desired)
• Understanding of QLD and NSW council requirements (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills, both verbal and written
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• Exceptional problem solving skills
