Do you have a background in financial analysis?
The role
As the Building Industry Financial Risk Analyst you will form part of a team responsible for monitoring and undertaking financial analysis of building contractors registered under the Building Services (Registration) Act 2011 (the BSR Act) to assess their compliance with the financial requirements for registration.
Your ability to analyse financial statements and other records, to reach evidence based conclusions and to produce high quality written reports will be key to your success in this role.
The position also assists with the administration of the excluded contractor provisions within the BSR Act by delivering expert insights into the insolvency history of registered contractors.
You will bring to the role/team general knowledge about business administration and accounting practices.
While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months.
