ADSSI are looking for a Building Services Foreperson to join our Building Services Team. The position works closely and collaboratively with the Building Services Manager and all members of the Building Services Team to provide home modifications and maintenance to our clients in the community. This role will work closely with key stakeholders such as Allied Health, Customer Service, Finance Administration, Contractors and Clients.

What will you be doing?                                                                                                               

  • In conjunction with the Building Services Manager and Building Services Administration staff, coordinate the day to day operations of the Building Services Department which provides high quality construction, modification and maintenance services to funded and commercial clients.
  • Estimating, quoting and contractual management of Building Services projects.
  • In conjunction with the Building Services Manager, provide supervision and guidance of trade staff and sub-contractors conducting Building Services, including contribution to team and individual KPI’s, and learning and development plans in line with the performance management cycle.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and in accordance with the agreement and internal processes.
  • Promoting the continued growth of profitable commercial work.

  • Builders Licence
  • Broad construction experience
  • Proven estimation and quoting skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of contracts administration
  • Proven negotiation and cost management skills
  • A strong understanding of relevant Acts, Codes and Regulations relating to the building industry and the aged, disability and community care sector
  • Construction induction white card
  • Working at Heights certificate
  • Apply First Aid certificate
  • Asbestos Supervisor certificate
  • Previous experience working with older people and people with a disability and/or knowledge of Consumer Directed Care, NDIS and Home Care Guidelines an advantage.
  • NSW drivers’ licence and a safe driving record
  • New employees must undergo an NDIS Worker Check prior to commencing employment.
