THE ROLE
The position is responsible for supporting the Building Surveying Team and provide a high level of customer service.
DUTIES
- Review fee requests and Request for Tender (RFT’s) by private and Government sectors and prepare and issue relevant Fee Proposals in accordance with due dates.
- Project co-ordination: fee and project set up and communications, as well as invoice co-ordination.
- Reviewing of Consultancy Agreements and Contracts issued by clients to ensure consistency with our clients Fee Proposal.
- Assist in preparing Construction Certificates / Occupation Certificates and Complying Development Certificates (CC/OC/CDC).
- Lodgements and updates to the NSW Planning Portal accurately and on time.
- BCS (Building Certification Systems) input and updates.
- External customer liaison via phone and email.
- Office Management tasks as required (answering of office phone, ordering stationery & consumables etc).
- Comprehensive management of internal files and document review.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience working for a building surveyor, builder or council favourable
- Communication skills with staff and clients
- Co-ordinating specific tasks
- Excellent Telephone skills
- Knowledge in residential permits desirable but not essential
- Organisational skills & attention to detail
