You are a true team player, driven by success, and are adaptable to support your colleagues.About the RoleReporting to the Deputy Director: Business Development, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership and coordination of the University of South Australia's (UniSA's) engagement across portfolios of Engineering and Construction, Environment and Water and/or Energy, Resources and Mining. The position is responsible for direct leadership and coordination of key partners in the identified sectors nationally and internationally.You will ensure that UniSA generates revenue from educational, training, research and innovation partnerships with companies and relevant Government agencies under the broad scope of the University's Enterprise Academic Plan, Research and Enterprise Strategic Plan and Industry Plans as appropriate.About the Enterprise Partnerships UnitThe University of South Australia's works with organisations of all sizes to overcome challenges, innovate and add value. - Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field and relevant experience in Business Development or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education
- Leadership experience in providing oversight and direction to other Business Development staff
- Demonstrated experience in the development of strategic relationships with key stakeholders and industry associations with a specific industry segment(s) with a track record of achieving agreed revenue targets
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of strategic advice and guidance to key internal stakeholders regarding business and product development.
- An excellent understanding of the industry, professional, and government environments in Australia and internationally in relation to the relevant sectors
