- Operate and maintain our LPG distribution tanker within compliance standards, regulations & Elgas policy
- Complete vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle are fit for service, clean & presentable
- You ensure vehicle and safety equipment documentation is up to date at all times
- In addition, you will report all incidents to the Customer Service Manager
- Active co-operation & adherence to dispatch/schedulers and timely delivery of paperwork
- Reporting site compliance issues and conduct gas checks when required
- Internal and external liaison with customers in a professional manner
- Safety awareness and execution according to all regulations associated with the position
- Flexibility, preparedness and responsive to service demand
- Cooperation with branch staff in servicing customers, completion of work, flexibility of responding to demand, preparedness to work overtime and, contributing to a positive workplace environment
- Be safety conscious and abide by all regulations associated with the position
What makes you great- You possess medium Rigid (MR) or Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle license with a clear driving history
- DG license - advantageous
- You are safety conscience and have process discipline
- Your previous experience working within a depot will be advantageous
- General maintenance experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Handheld computer usage or willing to learn
- Ability to work overtime on occasion
- Customer Focused
