Buller Holidays Apartments are a leading apartmentmanagement service provided by Buller Holidays, offering an extensive range ofself-contained apartments within the Mt Buller Ski Resort.
This is an ideal opportunity for self-motivated,enthusiastic customer focused individuals to join our small team based at MtBuller. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours, walk to various apartments in all weather conditions for inspections and hold a currentfull driver’s license.
As a guest service representative, you will be thefirst point of contact for the majority of our guests, you will be expected tomaintain a pleasant and professional manner. Guest service is of the highestimportance for all BSL staff and everyone is expected to wear a smile to work.
Job Duties include, but are notlimited to:
· Professionally andenthusiastically answering guest inquiries
· Providing guests with extensiveinformation about Mt Buller, including accommodation, snow products, transportand activities
· Organising and sendingpre-arrival information to guests
· Pre-Arrival and Post-Departureapartment checks
· Ensure accurate check-in andcheckout processes according to brand standards.
· Welcoming guests and/orapartment owners
· Adherence to all creditprocedures and accounting procedures as they pertain to check-in and check-out
· Provide information onamenities, services and directions to guests; responds to questions
· Answer phone calls politely andefficiently to meet and exceed all guest needs and requests
· Maintenance of strict securityprocedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety
· Responding promptly to allguests' requests, enquiries and complaints
· Providing efficient service forguest registration and departure
· Assisting in-house and upcomingguest enquiries via phone and email
· Liaising and assisting with Housekeeping,Reservations and Maintenance teams
· Complies with all policies,procedures and standards of operation
· Responding promptly to allguests' requests, enquiries and complaints
· Understand and supportdepartment operations and company policies and procedures
· Follow all company standards inregards to safety protocol, cash management and standard operating procedures.
We're looking for people with:
· A minimum of 12 monthsexperience in an accommodation environment, i.e. housekeeping, hotel receptionor reservations - preferred
· Previous BSL (Buller Ski Lifts)or Mt Buller Employment – preferred
· Proven experience in a customerservice role - required
· Excellent communication andactive listening skills, including the ability to speak, read and writefluently in English – required
· Ability to work well underpressure and maintain excellent accuracy and attention to detail - required
· Computer proficiency, includingability to easily and efficiently navigate and toggle between multiple screens,talk and type simultaneously, and troubleshoot basic computer issues - required
· Passion for and understanding ofski, resort and tourism industry - preferred
· Commitment to providingexcellent customer service - required
· Ability to multitask and workindependently - required
· Ability to work a flexibleschedule; we are open 7 days a week and hours vary – required
