What will your role be?

Our Assistant Brand Manager - Bundaberg Rum Brand Home will assist with delivering of our Direct to Consumer (D2C) marketing strategy with a focus on delivering visitation and commercial growth for our tourism experience while keeping the brand purpose at the heart of activations.

You will deliver this through leading the execution of tourism, sales, events and experience development initiatives that bring our brand purpose to life as well as inspiring and recruiting brand fans. You will be an active end-to-end project manager, proactively driving initiatives and analysing return on investment to drive future efficiency. This role requires an understanding and a desire grow knowledge of the trends happening within the travel, experience and drinks industries.

What does this role look like for you?

  • Managing the development of customer experience improvement opportunities.

  • Leading the trade tourism agenda identifying opportunities, develop and executing solutions and managing external relationships.

  • Leading and executing the development of our in-store and local marketing plan whilst looking for additional revenue making opportunities.

  • Setting the tone of the experience delivered by the Bundaberg Rum Visitor Experience Team.

  • Build a strong network of contact with regional tourism organisations, tourism government bodies, agencies, travel partners and local tour operators.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications (e.g. Marketing/Business) or extensive industry experience preferred.

  • 2+ years marketing experience, preferably in the tourism industry.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Process driven with ability to meet targets and deadlines.

  • Efficient administration skills including a close attention to detail.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and the company's operating systems.

  • A willingness to work flexible hours to meet demands of the business.

  • Flexible and thrive on change and challenge.
