The Opportunity
The National Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) Team are responsible for building the capability of our workforce by ensuring our people have the skills and capabilities required to perform effectively in their roles and to build successful careers.
Joining our national team, the Learning Specialist works on agile learning projects to scope requirements, develop the approach for learning initiatives and solutions and provides access to best practice learning experiences.
Key Role Accountabilities
- Partner and consult with stakeholders to assess leaning needs, solution design and project manage the delivery of learning solutions.
- Produce detailed learning project briefs, outlining target audience, outcomes, proposed learning solutions and measures of success.
- Develop change and communications plans to implement learning solutions or experiences.
- Facilitate virtual and face to face workshops for Ramsay employees.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in contemporary adult learning.
- Provide L&D expertise and guidance to all business stakeholders
About You
You are an innovative and solution oriented individual with contemporary ideas and deep adult learning expertise. You have a strong consulting skill set with the ability to engage with and influence a diverse stakeholder audience.
As a skilled, collaborative and self-motivated L&D practitioner, you possess effective time management skills, and the ability to manage and prioritise your workload while ensuring the delivery of results.
Key Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Learning and Development in large, complex organisations.
- Proven ability to consult with stakeholders to understand capability gaps and engage in co-solution design.
- Strong working knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles and learning technologies.
- Proven ability to deliver learning projects and initiatives within agreed timeframes.
- Commercially minded, with a proven ability to source a range of options to deliver on project requirements.
- A skilled and confident facilitator, with an ability to deliver engaging learning and education content to large audiences both face to face and virtually
Remuneration
A FTE base annual salary ranging from $110,000 - $130,000 + superannuation is dependent on relevant skills and experience.
