Diverse Bush Management is a small business operating out of the Dandenong Ranges. We take pride in a sensitive and carefully thought out, step by step, approach to bushland management.
Tasks include mostly weed removal and/or management, knapsack and rig spraying, sensitive fuel break works, planting, management plans, site assessments and general monitoring.

- Numerous local ‘friend’ groups
We are seeking Bushland Management team members with relative experience (incl. Green Army) or skills in bushland management techniques such as;
- Cut’n’paint and drill’n’fill of woody weeds
- Hand-weeding
- Brush cutting
- Spot spraying or possible rig spraying (chemcert or equivalent and excellent plant ID required)
- Well-developed local plant and weed identification skills
- General understanding of different plant communities (EVC)
- Good knowledge and implementation of OH&S, First Aid trained.
- Ability to understand and effectively prioritise tasks
- Excellent work ethic
- Current Victorian driver’s licence and own transport.
- Ability to work in a range of climatic and environmental conditions and moderate physical fitness
- Good communication and written skills
Hard working, hands on applicants with good work ethic, horticultural background and a strong passion for conserving our natural environment will certainly be considered.
Solid local and pest plant Identification skills are a must!
The job is 100% outdoors in all types of weather and terrain.
Must have own transport to sites.
