One of our governments clients is looking for 2x Business Analyst to help Identify, analyse and facilitate improvements to business systems, processes and workflows aligned with the overall business requirements of the Property Information projects to support the achievement of NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) business objectives.
Key accountabilities:
- Identify and analyse areas for improvement relating to business systems, process and workflows and the implications of implementing change to products and services; apply critical root cause analysis to identify and support improvements to the current business process environment.
- Coordinate research and analysis of best practice to develop standards and benchmarks to ensure quality service delivery through business process design and or policy development; analyse and document the “as-is” and “to-be” state for the business processes and procedures within the program or project scope.
- Define business specifications detailing requirements for human resources, systems and processes and provide guidance to the Senior Project Officer on the effort involved in the delivery of items within the program scope.
- Provide technical advice and respond to ad-hoc inquiries for information about Assets activities and prepare reports from available information systems.
- Research and keep abreast of technologies, trends, issues, standards and methodologies and identify opportunities to improve systems and process by providing recommendations to management on beneficial changes to policies and practice.
- Prepare clear, detailed project scoping and design documentation to be used by technical specialists to build appropriate business solutions; prepare business impact assessments, new business processes and procedures, design documents, business requirements specifications and non-functional requirements.
- Work collaboratively with subject matter experts on the definition of process, procedure and system changes to support the program scope and redesign, document changes to processes and procedures to support project objectives; and
- Contribute to the planning of work within the team and coordinate with other groups on a project basis.
