- Use data modeling techniques to identify ways in which an organization can operate more effectively.
- Communicate with senior people in organizations to find out what they hope to achieve
- Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research
- Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
- Run workshops and training sessions
- Minimum 5 years experience as Business Analyst
- Excellent communications and stakeholder relationship management skills with a strong ability to motivate, engage, negotiate, and influence.
- Proficient in using various data models, and business intelligence tools for creating reports and dashboards.
- Document project teachings and results very well, clearly, and concisely.
- Confidently present project findings and outcomes in front of the stakeholders and client.
- Experience in translating complex business requirements into data and technical specifications.
- Experience in developing functional and non-functional requirements for business solutions.
- Experience coordinating with other teams for planning, design, governance, engineering, and release management of processes plus ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data and analytics services.
- Involvement across project phases, inception, delivery, and service transition.
- Technical IT Project experience, integration, implementations, upgrades, etc.
- Data mapping experience has also been deemed a bonus.
- CBAP and/or IIBA certifications are seen as desirable.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are seen as desirable.
