Accounts Administrator

As the Full Time Accounts Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting tasks. Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, you will engage in a range of accounting processes, from managing accounts receivable and payable to processing payroll and maintaining accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing accounts receivable and payable whilst maintaining a positive cash flow.
- Weekly payroll of employees (using a jobs-based costing system), salaries, wages, and Sub-Contractors.
- Preparation and lodgment of Payroll Tax.
- Payroll tax, superannuation and payroll reconciliations.
- Banking and reconciliation of all accounts, including petty cash.
- Assist in the monthly financial account’s preparation.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks, daily bookkeeping functions, admin clerical duties, reporting and support the general business needs as required.
- Uphold existing financial, administrative, and records management systems.
- Resolve queries efficiently, liaising with stakeholders to address issues or variances.
- Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills Required
- Experience with Moveware our fully integrated software system is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of ATO and Revenue WA reporting and compliance requirements, along with Fringe Benefits Tax record keeping.
- Understanding of Contra Accounts and International payments.
- Prior experience with EBA’s would be beneficial.
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- A team player who continuously seeks improvement and thrives in a busy environment.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
