About The RoleWe have multiple opportunities for Data and Data Science
Business Analysts who will be accountable for enabling the delivery of data driven outcomes and products.These roles begin with early life initiatives, doing analysis to determine feasibility, acting as a liaison with business, translating their needs into a variety of requirements including process, data and integration specifications.You'll collaborate with a bunch of technologists to deliver new and innovative experiences to our customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities Include:- Play a key role during early life initiatives, managing stakeholders, communications and outcomes
- Gather requirements and perform detailed technical/domain analysis to help drive the correct solution
- Break work down into an MVP and subsequent delivery drops to ensure the right work is delivered at the right time in the right sequence
- Collaborate with key business stakeholders working closely to ensure ongoing delivery aligns with business goals and achieves maturity of the business data capability
- Liaise with data consumers to gather data governance sign off
- Manage a backlog of work for a Business Unit, ensuring the backlog is groomed and stakeholders are informed of the progress of their work
- Ensure that Data Governance and Quality processes are adhered to
- Proactively engage and showcase our work to other Sportsbet teams / functions to ensure that adoption and usage of platforms is maximised.
- Identify and champion opportunities to share knowledge on the role data plays and how it works when working with other delivery teams and stakeholders
About YouThese positions will play an integral role within our Data Ecosystem, focusing on enabling data driven outcomes. This team will have a direct impact on the decisions we make as a business and the way we engage with our punters. You will have experience in Data Platforms and working with data requirements, with a highly analytical with a creative problem-solving approach.Any experience working with Data Science models or Machine Learning applications is a bonus.
