One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Business Analyst to join a talented team. You will support the designing and implementation of a new Assessment System. You will also be involved in policy development, managing budget processes and stakeholder consultation and management. The Successful Business Analyst will be offered an initial contract until June 2025 with extension options and a rewarding hourly rate.
The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for the below:
- Undertake discovery and analysis planning activities, including current and future state analysis.
- Elicit, translate, validate, communicate, negotiate and manage requirements through techniques such as interviews, walk-throughs, use cases, specifications, process flows etc.
- Develop detailed business requirements, process maps, user journeys, and service design artefacts to document the business needs
- Lead, conduct and participate in stakeholder engagements, requirement elicitation and solution co-design workshops.
The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:
- A solid understanding of an ICT environment, SDLC and agile methodology.
- Background in background in business and policy analysis
- Significant experience working in large, complex multi-disciplinary organisation as an ICT Business Analyst in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
