- Exposure to Financial reporting and/or regulatory (APRA) reporting highly regarded
The Role:The purpose of this Brisbane based role is to provide high quality business analysis and business requirements for organisational change, projects and enhancements. The business is implementing a new custodian system and this assignment would be focused on establishing current process, future process and require extensive data mapping.
Your Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive business requirements documents that meet the needs of business stakeholders and achieve operational best practice
- Review and dissect ‘As Is’ process and establish necessary changes required to ensure optimal ‘To Be’ processes are defined
- Define and manage plan to ensure deliverables are completed within agreed time frames and are in accordance with agreed client specifications
- Identify Risks, Issues, and Assumptions & Dependencies to the Project Manager with mitigating actions where applicable.
- In co-ordination with the Project Manager, manage post implementation support to minimise disruption to the business.
- Drive business improvements through visibility of ongoing quality issues and initiatives
- Review team working practices/procedures to identify opportunities to improve quality or productivity.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in IT, Business or a related discipline;
- 2+ years experience as a Business Analyst
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
- Experience with financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting (APRA) highly regarded.
- Strong organisation and planning skills;
- Thorough knowledge of best practice administration processes and procedures is desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of client and regulatory requirements and operational framework is desirable.
