The successful candidate is an overachiever with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills they can leverage to coordinate, collaborate and ultimately drive the R&D team to deliver exceptional products. They will work in a cross-functional agile team that includes product owners, testers and talented developers. In their wider team, they will interact with peers across the globe, including Australia, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia.
What you'll be doing ...
Reporting to a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in our Student Management team by:
- Developing a deep and 'hands-on' understanding of the Student Management product, including its features, functions, and legislative and compliance constraints.
- Defining business requirements through workshops, focus groups, customer-driven development techniques, UX methodology and agile techniques to extract true business problems, design exceptional solutions and ultimately deliver outstanding outcomes.
- Driving a culture of customer quality through the team by ensuring they understand what quality means to the user. You will ensure designs are as simple as they can be to solve the problem, user stories have high-quality acceptance criteria, and the team has mitigated any risks through integration testing, regression testing, and automation testing.
Your Talents ...
- Solid Business Analyst experience across large cross-functional teams, preferably within the tertiary education sector
- Willing to challenge the status quo to improve business processes?
- Ability to create great bonds with our customers to achieve outcomes together?
- Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience?
- Open-minded and self-motivated
- Ability to apply the most common and widespread techniques within the business analysis community to perform business analysis tasks?
- It is desirable if you have relevant experience in other large ERP applications, timetabling or other learning management systems, such as Ellucian, Tribal SITS, Salesforce, Canvas, etc.
