SA GOV agency looking for a Technical Business analyst to deliver on systems Integrations with a business lens.Our client is a great South Australian State Government administration, committed to maintain and improving our community's safety. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Business Analyst to contribute to the implementation of a 12-month systems integration activity. The role will be driving technical analysis on our integration project as our client migrates from a mainframe system to a cloud-based platform.There are a range of existing integrations that will need to be considered and replaced, and likely new integrations to be introduced.
- 5 hours per day and 37.5 hours per week
- Adelaide CBD locations (2 days WFH allowed)
- Adelaide based candidates only. This role requires the candidate to be in the office ideally on 3 days from office and 2 days from home arrangement.
- $70 to $100 per hour base plus 11% superannuation on an hourly rate contract, 37.5 hours (15% casual loading included). The rate of pay is aligned with skills, experience, or expertise.
- State Government Administration industry award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances and superannuation.
- Experience in integration projects.
- Analyse system interfaces (a mix of SOAP, REST, file transfers, SQL, interactions with mainframe system etc.)
- Conduct discovery on existing and future interfaces and related processes (documentation needs to be located and validated, there are likely gaps to be explored further)
- Liaise with technical and business subject matter experts.
- Liaise with implementation vendor as they implement the replacement system and related integration capabilities.
- Analyse interfaces and capabilities available in this future cloud-based platform
- Identify and document changes required to interfaces and integrations to support business processes and the new platform.
- Identify, document, and make recommendations relating to solution options, including trade-offs and considerations.
- Coordinate with Business Analysts and architects to ensure alignment of business changes, system architecture, system configuration, and integration processes.
- Document interface specifications, mappings, and integration processes (including revalidation of existing specs where available)
- Contribute to defining system integration testing test cases and plan.
- Assist with system integration testing.
- Experience with cloud-based systems, CRMs etc.
- Experience analysing and defining interface requirements and specifications.
- Experience in system integration testing.
- Previous experience defining and designing interfaces and integration processes, including related specifications.
- Experience in system integration testing.
- Familiarity with reviewing JSON, XML, CSV messages and related services
- Experience with SQL and software development would be advantageous (the role isn't a developer role, but it is proving useful to confirm what existing interfaces are doing where documentation is lacking or outdated)
- Understanding of integration considerations and patterns (security patterns, message delivery and retry patterns etc.)
- Ability to identify, consider, and explain interactions between business, system, and integration processes.
- Experience with cloud-based systems and integration platform-as-a-service (iPaaS) solutions (e.g. MuleSoft)
