ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Transformation and Technology Department is evolving, and we're looking to enhance our technology project and system support. As a result, we're now in search of a talented Business Systems Analyst to become an integral part of our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of core Council business platforms, applications and cloud-based systems. You will ensure business requirements are clearly defined, providing input into system design to ensure our applications remain resilient, performant, and fit for purpose. Providing strategic guidance, and hands on delivery of systems, services, and solutions.

This is a leadership position, that will oversee the development of the Technical Project Offers and enable opportunity for continuous improvement.

A BIT ABOUT YOU:

To be a success in role, you will have experience in a senior technical role responsible for the delivery of ICT business application support and development services. You will have experience with integration services and will have been part of a leading software development team. As this role is a leadership position, you will have experience leading a team to achieve results in the delivery of technology systems.

Further experience in the following areas is required for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT or related field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery and maintaining ERP systems
  • Demonstrated experience with web-based software solutions using a variety of web browsers
  • Demonstrated experience in report writing using tools such as PowerBI or equivalent
