This is a rare Hands-On employment opportunity for a Business Data Analyst, to work with and to join a team which has a successful history of growth and innovation within the food manufacturing sector.

What we are looking for:

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications, skills & experience.

• Establish a standard method of operating for supporting Mitani Group’s data.
• Scale and maintain efficient data processes, fostering a culture of data integrity, and drive continuous improvement to maximise the value derived from data resources.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, create compelling data visualisations, and perform ad hoc analysis.
• Co-ordinate with the Finance and Sales and Marketing teams to provide quality assurance for standards and baseline metrics, and pricing analysis.
• Maintain Mitani Group’s data and business intelligence platform, working across business lines to deliver insights that drive decision making.
• Collaborate closely with the team to determine opportunities to automate inefficient processes both in administration as well as manufacturing.
• Ensure the groups data sources (i.e. SAP, M-Files, Intrexx) are validated and interrogated to provide assurance in reporting.
• Aid in the annual budgeting process, to provide insights and enhancements where required.
• Provide modelling and analysis to support the development and implementation of mid to long term strategic plans for site operations.
• Assess risks associated with data extraction, transformation, and loading; implementing data governance frameworks to mitigate risk.
• Good communication and time management skills are required, together with a proactive nature and an ability to work without a high level of supervision.

Capabilities & Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a field related to business, information technology, computer science.
• Minimum three years commercial/analytical experience, ideally within a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
• Experience in a similar analytical role, building analytical tools to simplify data and analytics through an understanding of business requirements.
• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Exposure to ERP systems is a plus, especially SAP Business one.
• An understanding of document and workflow management systems, such as M-Files, will be highly regarded.
