About the Role:
Our Senior Business Analysts/Business Analysts (BAs) work with multiple customers and stakeholders to shape business requirements relating to software changes and product direction primarily related to mobile applications. You will work with a team of passionate and energetic BAs who enjoy being constantly challenged and working within an exciting environment of rapid change and transformation.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and conducting workshops and meetings to understand and define client needs and complete analysis.
- Developing requirements documentation and acceptance criteria, including use cases, process maps, and diagrams as required.
- Working closely with cross-function agile teams to ensure client requirements are understood, testable, and meet business needs.
- Reviewing and recommending solutions, reviewing designs, and providing feedback to designer/developers.
- Involvement with estimates to provide a potential cost to clients.
- Supporting change requests through development, testing, and UAT as necessary.
- Supporting BA team with coaching, peer reviews and mentoring.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business and/or System Analyst.
- Proven understanding of software development lifecycle and business analysis practices.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in IT/Business, or similar.
- AML, CTF, KYC, Collections and Banking industry experience is preferred.
- Significant experience leading workshops, eliciting, and documenting effective business requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including a thorough understanding how to interpret costumer business needs and translate them into applications and operational requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to collaborate professionally with a diverse group which could include executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Previous experience with Agile and an ability to coach and mentor.
- Flexibility to embrace innovative technologies, extend skills and translate new knowledge to meet DA’s customer business requirements.
