The Small Business Transition Team delivers customer focused results by taking ownership of in life lending maintenance transactions to provide quality financial solutions for our customers..
As a Small Business Associate, you support a variety of different tasks include analysing business applications (up to $1m business debt) preparing submissions for credit decisioning, arranging legal documentation and seeing in life lending maintenance transactions through to settlement. You will also support in activities that deliver on our commitment for the transition of Small Business customers from Bankwest to CBA along with transactional maintenance needs.
Reporting into the Small Business Team Manager, your responsibilities may include:
- Analysing and completing credit proposals for existing clients
- Achieving settlement and productivity targets and ensuring service and quality objectives are met
- Meeting strong risk foundations
- Ensuring market leading service to customers and an excellent customer experience
- Determining customer needs and recommending product solutions
- Accountability for customer relationships with ongoing regular customer contact
- Developing strong stakeholder relationships with Bankwest and CBA colleagues, including local business teams, Business Credit and other business partners
- Managing transactions end-to-end autonomously
- Supporting small business transactional maintenance needs
- Supporting all required activities for the transition of Small Business customers from Bankwest to CBA.
- Demonstrated track record in commercial / business lending and highly motivated
- Strong knowledge of business lending principles and practices
- Demonstrated commercial acumen
- Business or commercial credit experience (preferred)
- Understanding of profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Experience with loan pricing, structuring, and various corporate structures including trusts
- Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders
- Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Customer centric approach
- Effective time management skills
- Flexible approach with ability to adapt to change
