About us:

ThreatDefence is an Australian Cyber Security vendor providing innovative cyber threat detection and incident response services to organizations in Australia and worldwide. As we continue to accelerate our business growth into 2024, we are looking to expand our revenue growth team. This is an outstanding and rare opportunity to join an innovative cyber vendor at an exciting stage of our journey.

Summary of the role:

You’ll play a vital role in executing the company's growth and revenue strategy. We are looking for highly focused individuals to join our team to develop new relationships, create opportunities, and drive these to completion.

This is a role that requires a high level of initiative, awareness and adaptability. We are expecting you to be a self-starter with an established network to leverage for your success. The position involves prospecting, opportunity creation, collaborating with our marketing team, and managing these opportunities through to close.

What we expect from you:

  • A high-energy individual capable of managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Resourcefulness – willingness to try different approaches and creativity in your methods.
  • A solid understanding of the cybersecurity market and competition.

You will:

  • Actively work on increasing our presence in the market by identifying new opportunities, talking to prospects, advocating our solutions and ultimately closing deals.
  • Participate in industry events, representing ThreatDefence along with the larger team.
  • Bring new business and new logos.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Great personal and communication skills 
  • Established customer relationships and networks
  • Proven track record selling IT solutions, preferably in a cybersecurity domain
  • Experience with various inbound and outbound lead generation channels
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate with senior decision makers
  • High level of comfort with standard technology (MS Office, PowerPoint, CRM).
