About the role
We seek a talented, results driven Business Development Executive who has the proven ability to work collaboratively in a highly competitive and driven Sales & Marketing Team. The coordination role’s core function is to assist the Business Development Manager with establishing and building robust sales pipelines and helping to shape the Sales strategy to continuously drive growth opportunities across both Stamford Grand Adelaide and Stamford Plaza Adelaide Hotels. We seek a professional whose results speak for themselves.
Reporting to the Area Director of Sales and Marketing.
Core requirements of your role
- Take a proactive approach to client relationship cultivation, through personable interactions via phone and face to face
- Maintain accurate client information in relevant internal databases
- Act as the primary point of contact for client sales enquiries as required
- Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager to achieve set KPIs and objectives
- Liaise with key stakeholders and provide timely and friendly feedback
- Develop and continue to build strong interpersonal relationships both internally and externally
- Provide administrative support to the team, this may include meeting minute taking, proposal writing and quotes, data oversight and ad hoc reporting
- Contract preparation, client liaison and follow up, coordinate invitations RSVP lists with the C&E team
- Proactively participate in Sales & Marketing meetings
About you
We seek a motivated team player.
- Proven sales experience, meeting and exceeding targets
- Previous experience as a sales coordinator/ executive
- Success with driving the sales process from commencement to close
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Delphi & Opera knowledge (desirable)
- Full and unrestricted Australian working rights
