The Role
- Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development professional.
- You will be responsible for maximising our sales and margin performance and growing an expanding portfolio of global market-leading brands in Perth and surrounding areas.
- Based in Perth and reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will be working closely with both the distribution partners to increase market share and with our end users to evaluate their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- This role comes at an exciting growth phase in our client’s business and forms an integral part of their expansion plans for the WA region.
- Your position will have a Perth focus, however, the role includes regional WA travel.
- Most Important Thing: Track record of success as a Business Development Manager.
- Experience selling to end-users within the mining, power generation and/or manufacturing industries is highly desirable BUT the most important thing is your Business Development acumen!
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with people at all levels.
- Ability to develop new business. Exceptional relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable with monthly regional travel. Collaborative team member with the ability to drive outcomes and work towards team goals.
- Qualifications in business, safety or similar disciplines are desirable.
- A high level of trust, integrity and self-motivation is essential.
