LEDVANCE Pty Ltd stands for Advancing Light - a world leader in innovative lighting products. Our customers are end consumers and professional users such as Installers & tradesmen with a range of products including traditional light sources, modern LED Lamps & Luminaires.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic go-getter with a flair for sales and service to join the LEDVANCE Team. We're seeking an employee with a "can do" positive attitude.
You will be responsible for achieving individual portfolio sales budget, gross profit budget, overall company sales and gross using tools for promotion and sales of LEDVANCE products in your assigned area.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the running of the nominated area to exceed budgeted sales and gross profit, paying particular attention to the following:
- Preparation of sales and margin budgets and forecasts.
- Develop strategies to increase luminaries market share within the territory.
- Obtain up to date knowledge on LEDVANCE’s products & specifications, particularly Luminaries.
- Be capable in presenting Lighting Designs / tenders.
- Drive the Industrial portfolio within the territory.
- Reviewing call cycles and making certain that all customers that fit the criteria are being called on regularly.
- Major Projects
- Working with Key Account Manager to maximise their business in the area and making certain that all requests to their key accounts are being actioned with the specific time frames.
- Maintain close contact with the Regional Managers of various Wholesale groups.
- Regular review sales statistics for sales and margin as it relates to budget performance breaking it down by customer / product.
- Work with Supply Chain by forecasting key products where expected volumes may change significantly.
- Work with Accounts to support their efforts in making sure that accounts in the state are current and paid on time.
- Area will include Adelaide suburbs & regional South Australia.
Essential experience & knowledge:
Experience in the lighting or electrical wholesale industry will be highly regarded as well as knowledge of Tier 1 and 2 electrical contractors.
- Strong customer service ethos to support internal and external customers.
- Experience in servicing Electrical Wholesalers and Electrical Contractors highly desirable.
- Advantage to have a trade background.
- Sound knowledge of Luminaries with proven track record.
- Sound minimum 1 year working experience of Dialux / AGI or Relux programs
- Needs to be a relationship builder with good communication skills.
- Ideally several years’ experience in a key sales role.
- Lighting experience.
- Proactive problem solver with positive and enthusiastic approach.
