This boutique underwriting agency provides general insurance solutions tailored to the client's needs and actively invests in the tools for its staff and its brokers to make underwriting easier and more enjoyable.
Due to their growth, they've approved a newly created position of Business Development Manager, Western Australia. This role will be responsible for developing profitable business and developing and maintaining relationships with brokers and partners. You will also collaborate with our client’s established technical underwriting team to improve its presence in the Western Australian market.

- works proactively to secure new clients through self-generated opportunities and leads
- you enjoy building rapport with business owners and brokers, gaining an understanding of what they need.
- Promoting our client’s strong capabilities, you can explain the technicalities of products and remove the headaches for clients.
Your natural abilities
What we’re looking for:
- a person who naturally enjoys networking and generating sales, with a background in general insurance or premium funding.
- experience in understanding what are the profitability drivers in general insurance, and with prior success in developing long-lasting broker relationships
- a broad range of knowledge that will support your ability to support a wide range of clients
- a desire to work collaboratively with a technical underwriting team to provide clear requirements and achievable outcomes.
