The Role:
Due to the ongoing growth of our Australian operations, we are seeking a confident, capable and experienced Business Development Manager that can further develop existing client relationships and continue to build our client base. Located in Malaga, the ideal candidate will be able to work be both as part of a team and autonomously and travel throughout Western Australia.
Duties
Working in conjunction with the General Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for meeting and exceeding the company sales targets by developing new business while servicing existing clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop new business and maintain existing relationships within Western Australia
- Manage existing contracts with key clients;
- Managing incoming business/jobs from start to finish through purchasing, supply and delivery including associated administrative task
- Managing quote request and negotiations with current or potential clients
- Provide technical advice and training to clients
- Develop strategies to support growth;
- Work with a range of other team members to provide the right solution and advice to clients.
- Work with both on site based and head office personnel.
Desired Skills
The idea candidate will ideally possess:
- Knowledge of conveyors and conveyor components;
- Proven experience in the mining industry dealing with a range of clients;
- Business Development & Account Management skills;
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Capacity to deal with a range of clients from site based personnel to senior management;
- Excellent organisation and prioritising skills
- Possess a can do attitude
- Proficient in MS Office
