The Enterprise Business Architect will work with stakeholders, both leadership and subject matter experts, to build a holistic view of the organisation's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets.
The role of the Business Enterprise Architect is to take this knowledge and ensure that business and IT are in alignment. The Business Enterprise Architect links the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organisation to its IT strategy, and documents this using multiple architectural models or views that show how the current and future needs of an organisation will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.
The key responsibilities for this position include:
- Assist in managing product harmonisation activities with the Digital Transformation Program viewpoint.
- Participate in Architecture Assurance and provide recommendations to the Business Design Authority
- Recommends and participates in activities related to the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture.
- Work with the Solutions Architect(s) to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable, adaptable, and in synchronisation with ever changing business needs.
- Shares best practices, and lessons learned and constantly updates the technical system architecture requirements based on changing technologies, and knowledge related to recent, current and upcoming supplier products and solutions.
- Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the organisation.
- Alignment of IT strategy and planning with organisation's business goals.
- Optimisation of information management through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.
- Promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flow. Ensure that product teams do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT strategies.

- Technical expertise in Business Architecture with experience with Enterprise Architecture and Digital Transformation
- Ability to synthesise complex technology concerns to senior non-technical audiences
- Previous success in capturing and interpreting complex multiple business line processes and activities.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- The ability to work across different tasks with competing priorities as part of a multidisciplinary team, employing agile delivery tools and techniques.
- Digital delivery experience.

Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with an internal IT/technical delivery partner
