The Opportunity

We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Improvement Analyst to join our Business Improvement & Analysis team in Perth CBD office on a Permanent Full Time basis.

Reporting to the Head of Business Improvement & Analysis, you will be responsible for creating visibility of business performance, and identifying and evaluating Business Improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create insightful reports and dashboards to continuously monitor various dimensions of business performance.

  • Utilise analytical techniques to identify and evaluate Business Improvement opportunities.

  • Support the operationalization of new assets and foster a continuous improvement culture through stakeholder collaboration and post-implementation reviews.

  • Engage in the strategic planning cycle for Energy Solutions, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and ensure alignment in assumptions for new business cases.

  • Proactively manage stakeholder issues, maintain APA's reputation, foster strong internal relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and achieve high stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Drive effective leadership and communication within the Business Unit and champion change leadership initiatives.

Your Background

  • Educational Background in Commerce, Law, or Engineering, advanced qualifications such as an MBA, CA, or CPA are highly regarded

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma is valued

  • Proficient in analysing large datasets and leveraging this data to drive decisions

  • Demonstrated experience in the Business Improvement sector, including successful delivery of value-added initiatives

  • Qualities: Accountability, Judgement, Safety & Sustainability, Big Picture Thinking, Customer Focus, Continuous Improvement & Innovation, Commercial Acumen, Focus

About the Team

The Business Improvement & Analysis Team at APA Group, is a new team based in Western Australia focused on enhancing operations and investments for the WA Energy Solutions business. Our mission is to provide exceptional analytical support to facilitate improvement and quality investment, and ensure strategic collaboration with operations, development, and commercial teams. We utilise advanced analytics to offer real-time insights and maintain sophisticated reporting tools for effective decision-making.
