Business Analyst - Information Management Framework
We are seeking a Business Analyst with demonstrated experienced in policy development, specifically within government departments. This exciting opportunity offers a 7-month initial contract for you to join a large government department and play a pivotal in shaping the future of the Information Management (IM) Program.
What You Will Do:
- Design and produce a diverse set of Information Management policies, standards, governance frameworks, and associated guidelines for the Department.
- Engage and consult with key stakeholders across the Department to ensure a deep understanding of information management policy requirements, reflecting them in the developed and delivered instruments.
- Project manage the development and rollout of pivotal policy instruments throughout the Department, seamlessly integrating current processes into existing governance models.
- Facilitate changes in Information Management asset policy instruments, processes, and registers, preparing for planned legislative changes to the Public Records, Right to Information, and Privacy acts.
- Ensure meticulous adherence to metadata standards mandated by the Information Management program.
- Exhibit the capability to develop policy instruments that are not only fit for purpose but can be seamlessly implemented across the business.
- Showcase prior experience in developing frameworks and policies for a large and complex Government Department.
- Demonstrate the ability to articulate complex concepts and issues verbally and in writing, tailoring communication to various audiences.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, achieving desired outcomes, and maintaining strong, productive working relationships.
