Road Crew Member

Downer manages and maintains road networks across Australia and New Zealand and manufactures and supplies products and services to create safe, efficient, and reliable journeys. Downer offers one of the largest non-government owned road infrastructure services businesses in Australia and New Zealand, maintaining more than 50,000 kilometres of roads in Australia and in New Zealand.
We currently have a position available for a labourer looking to further their career in the road surfacing industry. This role will receive on the job training and will suit someone looking for an all-rounder type of job. Previous experience with Stabilizers and Spreaders will be highly regarded, with a Heavy Rigid licence essential. This role will also include traveling and staying away for periods of time.

• Current General Construction Induction card
• Enthusiastic attitude and keen to learn
• Heavy Rigid Licence essential
• Ticket in Roller Operations advantageous
• The ability to work in remote areas and travel as required
• A strong team player with the proven ability to work efficiently with others
