The role
The Strategic Business Services Branch is responsible for assisting and supporting the various business units within the Consumer Protection Division.
As the Business Intelligence Coordinator, you will lead a small team to deliver the design, development and implementation of new Business Intelligence applications, coordinate a variety of performance reporting functions and respond to routine and ad-hoc requests for performance data and information.
Furthermore, you will provide advice regarding strategies, implementation, uptake and effectiveness of analytical and Business Intelligence services.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) within the department for the next 12 months.
This position is located in Perth, at 140 William Street.

- Considerable experience in consulting with business to determine business information and reporting requirements and understanding business processes and counting rules.
- Substantial experience using BI tools for data analysis in a variety of contexts, including data extraction, manipulation and reporting.
- Experience in leading and developing a team to deliver effective services.
