We have an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a Business Intelligence Lead to join our Technology team based in Perth.
Reporting to the Head of Technology, you will be responsible for improving the visibility of and access to key data in order to enhance insights across the Group’s systems. The role is business facing and a strong service mindset and good communication skills are essential. The role will work closely with each division, at a leadership and management level, as well as the technology team, to build solutions to the Group’s data requirements.
You will be a hands-on operator, capable of performing an initial analysis, presenting your findings and building the infrastructure required to deliver intelligence and reporting capability that can support the business. This role will be supported by technical and finance SME’s along with external vendors where appropriate. Looking forward this role has the opportunity to moving into AI, ML and growing a delivery team in the business if value can be demonstrated.
Ourideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Suitable qualifications and a degree in IT and/or relevant certifications.
- Deep understanding of the Microsoft SQL stack, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.
- Power BI & DAX or similar visualisation and coding tools.
- Cloud based Data storage either within Azure or AWS.
- Extensive experience in ETL and database design.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.
- Present a high level of stakeholder communication.
- Managing projects and communicating progress.
- Code repository & management.
- API connectivity and data extraction
