Your New Team
Our Engineering/ICT group represents an extensive and impressive range of local and international clients. We have a rare and exciting permanent opportunity for a qualified Patent Attorney to join our successful practice. Our team members are based in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Wellington.
Your New Role
The role will involve intellectually stimulating and challenging work with exposure to a broad range of A list clients, including patent drafting and advice for large corporates and leading universities and research organisations.

Your Training and Skills/Experience
To be considered for this opportunity, you will be a recently qualified Attorney or Associate (Trans-Tasman Patent Attorney or equivalent overseas qualified attorney), with residency in Australia or New Zealand. In addition, you will possess a solid academic background in computing/software and/or electrical & electronic engineering.
It is also crucial to have:
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts accurately and succinctly.
- The ability to draft and prosecute.
- The ability to work in a team but also as part of a large leading professional services firm.
