We are also the MCS Mobile Controls Systems Stockist Distributor for Australia and New Zealand for a broad range of programmable electronic controls for Industrial Diesel as well as CNG Engines, Electric Motors, and Hybrid drive vehicles. Under the Brand name SRE Australia we distribute a Range of Spherical Rod Ends and Ball Joints which are distributed to Motor Racing Industry, OEMs, and Resellers.
We are looking for a Qualified and experienced production person that is enthusiastic about and enjoys working in the Mechanical Cable industry.
The ideal candidate must have exceptional communication skills, be good a building relationships & prioritising tasks, be initiative-taking, and enjoy collaborating with a team

Responsibilities
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
Communicate & coordinate with staff and customers in person, phone and by email to understand their needs.
All information & proposals clients are prepared and communicated with an elevated level of professionalism.
Maintain a working knowledge of the company’s various products and services.
Prepare quotes, respond to new leads and customer enquiries within agree times.
Establish and nurture relationships with former clients and potential clients to facilitate sales.
Develop plans with management to expand existing market segments.
Ensure all drawings are up to date and maintained.
Control servicing of current machinery.
Ensure all dies are maintained and within tolerance.
Ensure tooling i.e. Reamers are sharp and function correctly.
Workshop area to be always kept clean with a through clean of work benches and floors.
Quality check of finished products prior to leaving premises.
Check quality of all incoming parts.
Organise quarterly stock takes with management.
Monthly Manufacturing reports.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
Learn and maintain industry, market, and product knowledge.
Ability to operate and set Workshop machinery.
Understanding of operating drawing programmes.
Qualifications - Skill and Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years working experience as a Manufacturing Manager.
Aptitude to learn and understand our product range.
Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
Enterprising individual who is self-motivated with a flair of manufacturing.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Valid and current Driver’s license.
Valid and current Forklift license.
Ability to work autonomously with enjoyable time management and organizational skills.
Has a strong capability in communication (verbal & written skills, including the ability to make presentations).
Mature, smart in appearance . great interpersonal skills & comfort with meeting new people on a daily basis.
Have a cheerful outlook and impeccable attention to detail.
Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft office 365 (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook) Google etc
