The Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our services at Medika Care & Support Services. You will ensure the highest standards of care and compliance, drive operational efficiency, and foster a positive and supportive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures in line with NDIS standards and regulations.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Monitor and manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including participants, families, and NDIS representatives, to ensure tailored and responsive service provision.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and organisational policies.
- Actively promote the services offered by Medika Care & Support Services to relevant organisations and participants.
- Lead business development efforts with key Support Coordination and Plan Manager businesses, funding bodies, and Department of Health contacts to establish additional referral sources and drive growth.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the NDIS framework.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow and enhance NDIS services in the Northern Territory.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including budget management, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Services, or a related field and/or relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in senior management roles within the healthcare, disability, or aged care sectors, with a strong understanding of NDIS funding models, regulations, and industry standards.
- Commitment to quality, compliance, and customer service excellence, with a passion for improving outcomes and making a positive impact on the lives of clients and their families.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the NDIS or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of NDIS standards and regulatory requirements.
