Business Partner- Clinical Governance & Systems Improvement

About the Role

The purpose of the Clinical Governance & Systems Improvement Business Partner is to lead and co-ordinate the implementation of Baptcare’s Clinical and Practice Governance Framework and the overall clinical governance function to drive quality improvement, standardisation and adoption of evidence based best practice across all service streams. The role requires extensive knowledge of clinical and practice governance requirements and strong leadership and change capability to deliver high quality, effective and culturally safe services across Baptcare.

Key Duties:
Successful Implementation of the Clinical Governance Framework

Support the Head of Practice and Clinical Care to develop, deliver and measure the successful implementation of comprehensive practice, clinical and quality governance and program alignment with Baptcare’s strategic imperatives, mission, vision and values

Drive improvement in practice and clinical measures and consumer outcomes across all Baptcare service streams

Enable effective governance and oversight of practice and clinical care including supporting the Head of Practice and Clinical Care and ensuring successful leadership of the relevant Quality and Practice Governance Sub-Committees

Support the collection, collation and analysis of outcomes related to practice and care across all services, including adherence to regulatory requirements, meeting and/or exceeding standards and compliance

Prepare comprehensive briefings and reports as required

Evaluate the adoption and impact of best practices across the services

Ongoing system improvement through the use of best practice methodologies

Baptcare employees are engaged in completing ongoing training and education

About You:
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in senior clinical governance or systems improvement

Proficiency in implementing quality assurance programs for improved care and operations building a reputation for high quality.

Proven ability to ensure strict regulatory adherence and manage compliance audits and prepare documentation.

Strong data analysis skills and clinical skills for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Effective at building collaborative relationships with various stakeholders.

Strong leadership and communication skills for all staff development and reporting, including preparation of reports.

Skilled in identifying and managing operational and clinical risks

Skilled in the use of agile and lean methodology tools

Proficient at creatively solving challenges to improve care quality, operational efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
