About the Role
The Spiritual Care Coordinator is responsible for the provision of high-quality spiritual care for aged In Home Care clients and their families. This role also includes co-creative leadership with local teams to support co-ordination, resourcing, and development of initiatives with staff that facilitate integration of spiritual wellbeing and care. This is a part time position (three days/week).
Key Selection Criteria
Mature spiritual formation, leadership, and theological reflection skills.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an understanding of person-centered care.
Understanding of and demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse cultures, spiritual frameworks, and backgrounds.
Spiritual care experience outside a faith community, preferably in aged or community care.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work independently, as well as part of an interdisciplinary team.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience and skills in administrative duties, including data collection and reporting on outcomes.
Alignment and commitment to Baptcare’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Clinical Pastoral Education/STFE or commitment to complete at own cost within 12 months of employment.
Qualifications in Spiritual Care, Chaplaincy or Theology.
Satisfactory National Crime Check renewed every three (3) years.
Full and ongoing Right to Work in Australia
Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle (mileage paid by Baptcare)
