Business Services Transformation Lead

In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the smooth and successful transition of business processes and services from a decentralized or traditional model to a global services hybrid model. You will play a crucial role in leading the transition of services from the current outsourced partner to the new identified partner. • Develop a detailed transition strategy for outsourcing BPO functions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and map current processes.
• Create a transition plan that minimizes disruption to ongoing operations.
• Support in the identification and selection of the right partner to meet business goals and ensure minimal disruptions in service.

Supplier Coordination and Management:

• Work closely with selected suppliers to ensure a clear understanding of our business needs and expectations.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and the supplier to ensure a smooth transition.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics during the transition phase.

Project Management:

• Oversee the entire transition project, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the transition process.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of the transition.

Post-Transition Management:

• Drive innovation within outsourced operations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Establish and maintain BAU governance frameworks to monitor and evaluate supplier performance.
• Act as a liaison between Aurizon and the supplier to resolve any operational issues.
• Proactively manage contractual obligations, supplier performance, and innovation projects to maximize value and minimize risk for Aurizon, adhering to relevant legislation and internal policies.

Continuous Improvement:

• Regularly review and analyse the performance of outsourced functions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with the supplier to implement changes.

About you:

• Bachelor of Business or other related field (Preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, Projects, and PowerPoint.
• Proven experience in project management, business process outsourcing, and GBS transitions.
• Strong understanding of business processes, change management, and organizational development.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools in the GBS space.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale business transition and transformation projects, preferably in the context of GBS.
