About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Business and Site Support Officer in a 18 month fixed term contract to drive best-for-business outcomes and support the business in performing its operations for the Oakey site.
This is a fast paced and varied role where you will be reporting to the Manager Business Support and will be the focal administrative point of contact for all team members on the site.
Some of your day-to-day activities will include:
- Ordering of uniforms, raising purchase orders and processing invoices
- Processing of timesheets and payroll support
- Travel coordination, on boarding and induction of new starters
- Site access along with hosting and assistance of visitors and contractors
- Security and facilities support
- General day-to-day support for the site.
About you
You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build long-lasting, collaborative relationships on all levels. It is essential that you have previous Administration/Business Support experience including high level computer skills in MS Office Suite, proven planning and organisational skills and the ability to resolve service issues, with strong analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills.
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
