About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Analyst to join our team during a time of growth. Forming part of a larger IT team you’ll be joining at a great time, with the opportunity to make an impact.
The Business Support Analyst provides for broad operational support across different functional areas of the IT Team and is responsible for developing and enhancing business process documentation and efficiencies for key projects/initiatives, on an ongoing basis.
About You
You'll be proactive and driven Business Support Analyst, who thrives working in an agile environment and in addition to this, you will:
- Be a confident communicator, where you can convey important information clearly, through verbal and written mediums and are able to quickly build rapport with all levels of stakeholders
- Have the confidence to prioritise those tasks that are most urgent
- Have a can-do attitude with strong attention to detail as well as being process driven
- Possess a strong knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs, particularly Excel (essential)
- Possess a strong working knowledge of MS Forms, Power Automate (Flows) (desired)
- Possess a strong understanding and working knowledge of Sharepoint Lists, Document Libraries, and SharePoint Design for site updates and improvements (desired)
- Have the ability to train and support business content managers of Sharepoint subsites
Key Responsibilities
- Work with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to analyse both functional and non-functional requirements
- Analyse data related to business operations to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for improvement.
- To create technical documentation or user stories for the development teams to a standard that allows them to enhance existing/create new applications or system integrations
- To work directly with systems and databases to understand how they work without the need to involve developers
- To find pragmatic solutions to requirements that align to existing functionality/architecture where possible
- To build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies and initiatives
- Ensure that developers have all the information they need in a timely manner so that projects can be delivered to timescale
- Assist other analysts as required
- Undertake administrative tasks related to business operations, such as generating reports and maintaining databases.
