About the Role
The Business Support Officer is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative functions to support the unit’s operational and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be involved in coordinating and supporting the delivery of Financial Services functions and projects through tasks such as diary management, procurement, development of presentations and briefing papers, research, and event management.
Reporting to the Manager – Financial Service the core responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with the Financial Services unit and broader management team to support the delivery of key projects, initiatives and programs.
- Provide high level, trusted and confidential administrative support.
- Contribute the CEO Directorate business goals and objectives by supporting the development of Strategies, Policies, Plans and Procedures.
- Ensure timely and person focused customer service is delivered at all times.
- Assist Manager and Team Leaders with monitoring and assigning Councillor requests and internal Helpdesk Requests to ensure responses are provided within required timeframes.
About You
- Demonstrated experience providing a high level of administrative support to senior leaders
- Ability to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with a variety of stakeholder across the organisation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft suite of applications and a high level of computer literacy.
- Ability to manage workload to a high standard, determine work priorities and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Team minded and empathetic.
