About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Business Unit Coordinator starting in April 2024.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating and overseeing a wide range of administrative duties while providing extensive support to the Growth Portfolio leadership team; ensuring work is handled efficiently without the need for constant or direct supervision.
What will the role involve:
Provide high level administrative, organisational, and scheduling structure and support to the Lead Team including maintaining all correspondence and records, following up on pending matters with limited direction.
Lead and develop the administration function and ensure information and knowledge sharing is communicated accordingly.
Coordinate and effectively manage all Ministerial correspondence, Board, Executive and Committee papers that are required of the team in an accurate and timely manner.
Coordinate and effectively manage team meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, project status meetings and other meetings as required; keeping track of multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
Key skills and experience
Extensive support and administrative experience in a similar role within a large state-wide multifunctional organisation.
Sound knowledge of the procedures and protocols for Board, Executive and other Committee Meeting Papers.
Forward thinking and versatile, with the ability to use your initiative.
Can juggle several tasks and priorities at the same time.
