The Opportunity
This role is responsible for the timely construction of joinery for small to large residential and commercial projects. This role is based at our Warana, Sunshine Coast workshop.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Construction of joinery to a high standard of quality and on program.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and measurements.
- Problem-solving on projects with attention to detail.
- Completion of construction activities on schedule with NIL or minimal safety or industrial incidents.
- Ensure that SWMS are read and adhered to at all times.
- Adhere to all Company Policies and Process Guides.
- Work on multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of results.
- Comply with quality control standards and processes.
- Complete works on or below budget as directed by the Leading Hand.
- Keep the Leading Hand informed of developments.
- Maintain the workshop in a neat and tidy manner at all times.
- Willingness to get involved in and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with deliveries.
- Assist with installation of joinery.
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Cabinet Making is well regarded, further certification or licenses are beneficial.
- General Construction Induction (White Card).
- Current valid driving license
