AddressWe are a leading installation company that works alongside suppliers to fitout small/ medium and large scale office furniture installations (This include office booths, partitions, acoustic panels, medical equipment… you name it we install it). We work with government, schools, defence and retail to provide professional service with our fitouts.
We are seeking a skilled a Trade skilledCabinet Maker/ Shopfitter / Carpenter to join our team.
As one of our installers your responsibility will be: -
- Installing furniture
- Problem solving any issues on site
- Being aware of safety and making sure you are being safe and promoting your team mates to also be safe onsite.
You will work closely with senior installers and other skilled personnel.
We pay above award rates, please see below our added allowances such as: -
- Tool allowance
- Meal allowance
- Phone allowance
- Boot allowance.
We have a close knit team who enjoy having banter and we like to catch up socially.
Someone who would excel in this role would be someone who: -
- Has confidence in their abilities
- Team player
- Past experience in some nature to installing furniture
- Loves variety of work and environment.
Monday- Friday position, at times weekend work is available (optional)
Mostly working in and around Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coast. Due to current contracts, we do have some installations which are regional and require nights away however this is candidate dependent.
We will be allowing some time for training to be fully inducted into this position.
Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- Tools specific to industry - we would prefer someone who is trade qualified in cabinet making or other field.
- Previous experience in fit out installations or similar roles preferred
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Availability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent problem - solving skills and attention to detail
- Current drivers license and vehicle to get to and from work
