Kitchen Concepts is a family owned business that has been operating for over 25 years based in Winnellie. We are a multi-award winning kitchen manufacturer seeking a keen, motivated individual to join our team. We manufacture and install joinery for the commercial and domestic market in Darwin and surrounds.
Qualifications & experience
- Qualified Cabinetmaker - minimum 2 years experience in a cabinetmaking role
- Drivers Licence (Manual)
- White card
- Forklift Licence (desirable)
- CNC experience (desirable)
Tasks & responsibilities
- Installation of joinery as directed.
- Perform joinery tasks in the workshop and elsewhere as directed by the Workshop Supervisor.
- Operate workshop machinery and materials handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Setting up, operating and adjusting machinery to exact specifications and standards.
- Always work in a safe manner so as not to injure yourself, other employees or clients.
- Exercise discretion and utilise basic fault finding skills in the course of your work.
- Be responsible for the quality of your own work and able to work unsupervised.
- Ensure the quality of manufactured goods, including checking hardware and other materials are included in the job, prior to delivery and installation.
- Good communication skills to be able to liaise with team members and clients alike.
